A bruising, femme-fueled solo fight by Peter Griggs
directed by Susan Finque and produced by Outrage Onstage
The Project
“Killer Queen” is the raw and unapologetic story of Paco, a young gay boxer in the 1980s fighting through a world that wanted him gone … and refusing to go quietly. Written and performed by drag artist and activist storyteller Peter Griggs, this solo work blends theater, boxing, and queer history into a fierce, emotional knockout of a performance.
Directed by longtime Seattle artist Susan Finque, Killer Queen will premiere in 2026 in a non-traditional, gritty space that evokes the feel of a boxing gym. We’ve already secured a $13,800 grant from 4Culture to kickstart this project, but we need your help to bring Paco’s story fully to life.
